The Orèe du bois is a friendly, family run hotel at the edge of the village. you are asssured of a warm welcome, excellent food and wine, and comfortable beds at reasonable prices. One of the villages of Viroinval, which is unique in that today it has the largest forest in Belgium which has no road through it. Oignies was originally a small village of woodcutters.
